Anne Peterson Hutto has lived on James Island for over a decade. Raised by public school educators, she graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1989 with degrees in Government and International Studies and History. After graduating from college, Anne attended Brooklyn Law School, and received her law degree in 1992. In 1996, Anne met her now husband David Hutto, a chef, who was born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina. After many years of working for a local law firm, Anne opened her own law practice in January 2006. |

Anne and David have two children, Matthew, 7 and Adrianne, 5. Anne has been active with their schools and is the den leader of Matthew’s Cub Scout Pack. Anne is a member of the Cathedral of John the Baptist. She is on the board of Directors of PACT (Parents and Children Together), a member of the South Carolina Bar and proudly holds a South Carolina fishing license. In her spare time, Anne plays the piano, flute, and a little string bass. She enjoys the beach, boating, gardening, hiking, camping, biking, reading, and, of course, spending time with her children. |
